Research shows that obtaining a GED can add up to $9,153 in additional income per year. Ascend Center for Learning has been creating opportunity through education successfully helping more than 450 individuals in obtaining their GED. As a result Ascend has potentially contributed more than $31,623,615 in increased wages for our local economy over the past 17 years.The 2011 Graduating Class included 27 ABE certified students, 40 GED attainers and 67 Job Readiness Program graduates.
