2012 Ascend Graduates

Research shows that obtaining a GED can add up to $9,153 in additional income per year. Ascend Center for Learning has been creating opportunity through education by successfully helping more than 450 individuals in obtaining their GED. As a result Ascend has potentially contributed more than $31,623,615 in increased wages for our local economy over the past 17 years.The 2011 Graduating Class included 27 ABE certified students, 40 GED attainers and 67 Job Readiness Program graduates.

6 STEPS TO YOUR GED at ASCEND

  1. Attend Thursday Orientation/Information Session
  2. Complete Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE)
  3. Go To Class and Study while also getting Job Readiness or College Prep Training
  4. Take Practice Tests
  5. Take Your GED Tests
  6. Graduate

Potential students must come to an orientation session held every Thursday at 10:30am in our offices at 1640-B E. 2nd St.
